Confirmation Preparation Masses – Saturday February 1st, Saturday March 1st, Saturday March 29th. Confirmation Sunday May 25th.

We would like to acknowledge the very reliable nature of both our readers and those involved in bringing up the gifts each week.

Enrolment Week:   This takes place this week. Parents/Guardians can collect a form from the office or download a form from our website, These forms must be filled in and returned by 3p.m. Friday the 17th of January.

Uniforms:   The Department of Education has instructed all schools to survey parents with regard to school uniforms. We will be sending our surveys out to each family this week. All of these will be collected by Gillian in the office.

Green Flag:   We have sent in our preliminary application to the relevant body. The Green School Committee has put in a huge amount of work into it. There is now a great amount of recycling going on in the school with batteries, ringoes, ink cartridges, old mobile phones, paper and plastic all recycled. Children are also encouraged to go to the recycling centre. We will be having an Action Day in the coming weeks to highlight the work done in the school. More information will be available in our next “Green Newsletter”. We would also like to point out that the school makes no financial gain in relation to this project.  It is purely to encourage children to recycle.

Homework:   This is given each night from Monday to Thursday to the pupils. It is important that parents ensure that it is done well. If the child is having any difficulty with homework, it should be brought to the teacher’s attention.

Christmas Cards: Thanks to the Parents Association who organised this initiative, and to all the parents who supported same.
