Congratulations to Mr. Conor McClorey  & Ms. Rosalie Clarke on their recent marriage. Couples intending marriage in the Diocese of Meath , must complete  an  ACCORD  pre marriage  workshop.

Baptism ;

The Parish community welcomes recently baptised  Jamie Matthew Farrell Taaffe  All baptisms take place on the 2 nd & 4 th. Saturday of each month at in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt.

Bereavement Support Group ;

Kingscourt Bereavement Support Group ,are holding a 5 week healing programme  at The Parish Centre on each Wednesday from 29 th. October  to 26 th. November. The programme is open to all . contact 9667186 or Parish Office. Confidentiality Assured.

No Postcards  ?


On   a recent survey to three, card selling  shops in Kingscourt it was found that it is not possible to purchase a postcard from Kingscourt  as there  is none available at the moment . With so many visitors  on a daily basis visiting Kingscourt and Dun-An-Ri  Forest Park , The Church of the Immaculate  Conception  Kingscourt ( which has  world famous  stained glass windows by   Eve  Hone and Harry Clarke ) and other places of interest in the area.  It is well known fact that visitors to a town will buy postcards from the town , cards are available for Christmas, weddings, birthdays and events, etc.

Kingscourt  into Senior County Final ;

On Sunday last  Kingscourt Stars  GFC  successfully over came last year’s County Champions  Ballinagh, in Kingspan  Breffni Park by the smallest of margins, with a score of Kingscourt  11 points to Bailinagh’s  10 points.  Kingscourt  Stars will now meet  Cavan Gaels in the County  Final.

Garden Club  Meeting

Kingscourt Garden Club, meeting on this Wednesday  at in the Parish Centre.

Active Retirement Meeting ;

Kingscourt Active Retirement , meeting on Friday  next 10 th. October  at  8pm.

Ervey  Harvest Service ;

Ervey Presbyterian Church, Harvest Service will be held on Sunday 12th. October at  Everyone welcome.

Corlea, Cake Sale & Coffee Morning ;

Cake Sale & Coffee Morning will take place in Corlea School on Sunday 19 th. October  after  9.00 am  Mass, All support welcome

Blood Donors ;

There was an increased attendance at the recently held Blood Donor clinic by the Irish Blood Transfusion Service in Kingscourt Community Centre. A total of 111 donors attended, which included 7 first time donors and 12 former donors

Harvest Mass ;

The annual Harvest Mass will be held on Sunday next  at 12 Noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt,  all are welcome especially all the hardworking members of the farming community in the parish. Donations of all farming products will be used to display in the Church , which will be later given to charity.  They can be left in the Parish Office or Sacristy.
