On Monday 3 rd. March a mobile unit of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service will hold a” Blood Donor Clinic” in Kingscourt Community Centre, from 5.00.pm to 8.30.pm, Blood Donors save lives, new and lapsed donors along with regular donors will be most welcome.
Scrap Saturday ;
St. Joseph’s N.S. are holding collection of scrap metal and bagged clothes at the Enterprise Centre, off the Kells Rd., from11.00.am to 1.00.pm on Saturday, 1 st, 15 th & 29 th. March. They are also organising a Road Race in Kingscourt on Sunday 23 rd. March, runners will have a choice of races . There are three races 20 km. it starts at 9.30.am, 10 km. it starts at 9.45.am and 6 km, it starts at 10.00am, all races start and finish at the Market Square, St. Joseph’s School are fund raising to carry out repairs to the roof of the old school.

The Annual Lenten Novena in Kingscourt commences on Ash Wednesday, 5 th. March at 8.00.pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt. Guest Speakers; on Wednesday 5 th. March, will be Joan Freeman, CEO , Pieta House. On Wednesday 12 th. March it will be Elma Walsh, mother of Donal Walsh, R.I.P. Kerry
Bereavement Support Group;
The Kingscourt Parish Bethany Bereavement Support Group will commence a five week Healing Programme on March 4 th at8.00.pm in the Parish Centre. The programme is open all who have been bereaved at any time. call 042 9667186, Confidentiality assured.
Drama Group, Success ;
The second production from the Dun-A-Ri Drama Group, which was staged on Friday and Saturday evening’s of last week were very successful, with capacity attendances on both nights, congratulations to all involved.
