Marriage ;

Congratulations to Ms. Oonagh  McGinley and Mr. Ross McPherson on their recent  marriage. couples intending marriage in the Diocese of Meath, must complete an  ACCORD  pre marriage workshop.

Lourdes Invalid Collection, Thanks ;

Sincere thanks to all who contributed to the recent Parish Lourdes Invalid Collection which realised  € 1730.

Cemetery Sunday ;

The annual Blessing of graves, will be held in Kingscourt cemetery on Sunday  3 rd. of August,  at 12 Noon, with Mass , being celebrated in the cemetery on that day .

Grandparents  Day, Mass ;

On Saturday next, the feast of St. Joachim  and Ann, patron of Grandparents, all grandparents and their families are  invited to attend the 6.00.pm vigil Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt.

Green Flag , Award ;

Congratulations to the Muff school community who were recently awarded  their first Green Flag .

Jackpot  Winner ;

Congratulations to  Ms. Margaret Sheenan , on winning the Lotto Jackpot (€ 7,600 ) at Bingo , on Thursday of last week.

Flowers   Display ;

During the past few week’s  over 30 large  Boxes  with a colourful display of flowers have been positioned  along the towns centre island, also hanging baskets  with colourful displays of flowers have been erected  at the junction of the Carrickmacross / Kells  roads, by Kingscourt Community Council, many  businesses , traders, Industries  and residents have displays of window  boxes, hanging baskets, flower beds, which all go to give an impressive    appearance  of the town . Thanks to the litter  pickers, the town is  litter free. Everyone can play a part in keeping  their area  clean and tidy as this is the time when the Tidy Town’s adjudicators  visit.

Skydive  Thanks ;

Sharon Sheenan ,thanks all who supported her Charity  Skydive for Kingscourt Cancer Fund, which  realising  € 2050.

Fr. Phonsie Mackin, Thanks;

It is with grateful thanks that Fr. Phonsie Mackin wishes to thank all who took part in celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of his Ordination, and for all their good wishes and presentations. which was held recently in Kingscourt . A special word of thanks to all who worked so hard to have everything organised so well. It was all very pleasent, memorable and enjoyable, a  Novena of Masses will be offered for all .
