The Fair of Muff
The annual pattern “Fair of Muff” which was held on Tuesday of last week continues to attract many visitors from all over Ireland and further afield , with many of the attendance have been attending for over 40 years. There was the usual supply of horses, pony’s, donkeys , goats and a variety of fowl. Despite the slow horse trade the fair lived up to its reputation of creating its own atmospheres , For many others a visit to view the stalls to see what is on offer is another reason for attending and there was a large attendance of stalls, many arrive the night before to get the best vantage place .
