Cavan / Monaghan ETB ,Meeting ;
On Friday last a meeting was held in Kingscourt Community Centre of the Cavan / Monaghan ETB, having earlier visited the site of the new Dun-An-Ri College, they also met with officials of Cavan County Council, traffic management, in relation to improving traffic flow in Kingscourt. With work ongoing by the design team of the New Dun-An-Ri College, with construction work starting in the new year, it will create employment for over 350 employees for the duration and when completed the college will take in it’s first pupils in September 2016. The establishment of a new second level college in Kingscourt will have a major impact on the further development of town. Parents will especially welcome the new college in Kingscourt and look forward to their children not having to travel to nearby towns for second level education. At the conclusion of the meeting the CEO of Cavan / Monaghan ETB (Mr. Martin O’Brien) was complimented by Cl. Clifford Kelly , and other members in attendance, on his commitment and the development work ongoing of Dun-An-Ri College.

Welcome to Garda Jimmy McGovern who has been transferred from Sligo to Kingscourt, he is a native of Killygarry, Cavan. Best of luck to Garda Padraig Brennan, who has been promoted as Sergeant to Dundalk and to Garda David Petit who has been transferred to Cavan.
Marriage ;
Congratulations to Ms. Orna Carroll & Mr. Brendan Tierney, on their recent marriage. Couples intending marriage in the Diocese of Meath, must complete an ACCORD pre marriage workshop.
Baptisms ;
The parish community welcomes recently baptised Shane Martin Lynch & Kyle Vincent Byrne, All baptisms take place on the 2 nd and 4 th Saturday of each month at 4.00.pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt.

Kingscourtparish.ie) has enjoyed a very large number of visitors over the past twelve months. 46,727 people have logged on from Ireland, U.K., Australia , Poland ,Canada ,Colombia ,United Arab Emirates , New Zealand ,South Africa , and Germany as the top 10 countries, who view the parish web site. 27,195 people have also viewed various Masses, Weddings, Funerals and other religious services from Kingscourt Church. It is nice to know that many Kingscourt parishioners living abroad like to keep in touch with their native parish and community .
Parish Mission ;
The next Parish Mission will take place during Lent 2015 from 21 st to the 29 th. March incl. and will be conducted by Rev. Fr. Denis Luddy, and the Redemptorist Mission team .
Apostolic Collection ;
Kingscourt Apostolic collection will be held on the weekend 27th/28 th September.
Hospice Coffee Morning ;
