County  Final

Although  only one week to prepare for this year’s County Final , there was a tremendous  build up of support in the area with the town awash with  Blue and White bunting, flags, banners, support from  all industries, businesses, shops and organisations. As usual there was a large following of support who travelled to Cavan for the match.  Although losing by the smallest of margins, they were somewhat unlucky  not to  come away winner of the final.  In what was a  performance of the highest order in a   closely fought  encounter. The team and officials can be  proud of the efforts  involved by all   on the day in  a nail – biting  finish.
